Letterman Jacket Policy
Requirements For Earning A Baseball Letterman's Jacket:
1. A player must have participated on the Valdosta High Varsity Baseball Team during his Junior and/or Senior year.
2. A player must be in good standing with the coaches and must not be a habitual behavioral problem on or off campus.
3. A transfer player from another school may earn a jacket after his Junior or Senior year. This will depend on when the player transferred and if he transfers in good standing from the coach of the prior school system.
4. A player must be enrolled and academically eligible for fall semester of their Senior year.
5. A player must have participated in our summer baseball program, or be excused to play for a travel team by the Valdosta High Baseball Coaching Staff. A player must participate in our summer and fall conditioning program provided by our coaching staff.
6. A player who is academically ineligible for fall semester of their Senior year may not receive a jacket until he gains eligibility.
7. If a player recieves a jacket in the fall and chooses not to play his Senior year, the player must forfeit the jacket.
8. If the player qualifies in the spring of their Junior year he may order before summer. If the player has not fulfilled all of the requirements he may earn the jacket and order it in the fall of his Senior year.
